The Menu

Champey Restaurant, Old Market, Siem Reap

We had our lunch on our second day in Siem Reap here in Champey.
We decided to eat here to taste a real Khmer food.

We ordered Beef Loc Lac, and Fish Amok.
We found these dishes are interesting, but honestly, it doesn't fit my taste bud.

AHA Bar and Restaurant, Old Market Siem Reap

Make sure to make reservation before heading to this fancy restaurant.
It is owned by De La Paix Hotel, one of the fancy hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Located in the Old Market and Pub Street area.

AHA is behind me, your left hand side

The waitress was very attentive.
The bad thing is the place is too small, so the table size is quite small too...

We chose the Khmer and Contemporary small plates selection as the appetizer.
The Khmer for me was just ok, but The Contemporary was a success.

The Contemporary Small Plates

The Khmer small plates consist of Beef Skewer with Green Papaya Pickles Deep fried Chicken and Coconut Spring Roll Green Mango Salad with Dried Snake

The Contemporary consists of Unagi Roll with Pickled Vegetables and Wasabi Whipped Cream Crispy Rice Dumpling with Cheese and Taziki Cashewnut Prawn with Raspbery Dressing.

The main courses, we have chosen the tenderloin and salmon. These are great. Enjoy...

The final dessert were successful. I think these are their best desserts. Honeycomb ice cream and Chocolate and Peanut Rice Dumplings with Passion Fruit Sorbet. Drool!

We had lunch here on the first day in Siem Reap, and it is very recommended.
The selection of foods are vary from local to international dishes. Reasonable price for a good quality food.

Angkor Miracle Resort and Spa

Location:
This hotel is located in between the Siem Reap International Airport and the entertainment area such as Old Market and Pub Street. The location for me is convenient, not as busy as in downtown, and it is only one tuktuk ride away to the downtown.

The lobby area, very clean and well maintain

Service:
I checked in earlier and it was no problem. They checked us in less than an hour waiting time.
They served welcome drink and even offered us for having a breakfast.

The kindness of their staffs are superb. They are willing to help and make your stay as convenient as they can.

Food:
The breakfast came with so many selections of food. Local, asian and western food are available.
Try to avoid the busy breakfast hour from the travel groups.

Bedroom:
We stayed at the Junior Suite which is very clean and neat. It is very spacious, and double the size of the standard room.
